The Chesapeake

The Ridge Pub
One of the most anticipated additions, this new dining space offers residents a stylish and flexible option with hand-crafted meals and drinks served from mid-morning through evening. Designed for today’s active seniors, it’s the perfect spot for those whose schedules don’t always align with traditional mealtimes.
“Now, residents can grab a bite or relax with friends whenever it suits them,” says the Food & Beverage Director Steve Newcombe.
With a menu featuring fresh seafood, signature burgers, and entrée salads, The Ridge Pub has quickly become a favorite social hub in the community.
The Terrace Bistro
For more relaxed meals (thinking dining al fresco), residents can step into this refreshed venue where updated furniture and décor make indoor and outdoor dining more inviting than ever.
The Corner Store
With the newly imagined Corner Store’s grab-and-go options, residents can take a quick meal home or pick up a snack between activities. There are also options for other items such as accessories, sundries and décor.
Continuous Improvement for Residents
Blakehurst’s dedication to improvement doesn’t stop with the recent $16-million renovation. It extends outdoors to the Grove (located near the entrance). The Resident Landscape & Ground Committee has been collaborating with management to make it more accessible and enjoyable for all.
