Did you see us on WBFF? Mardi Gras festivities at Blakehurst kicked off with a decadent Shrove Tuesday Pancake Breakfast for its residents. Shrove Tuesday is the traditional day of feasting before the solemn season of Lent begins. Also known as Pancake Day in many cultures, it marks the final indulgence before the fasting and reflection period leading up to Easter.
